De role of sales manager BIMcollab

The multilingual sales team at BIMcollab (8+ salespeople) is responsible for new business acquisition and consults the customer success team on accountmanagement. We also work with a global network of resellers, wha are supported by the sales team. 

You are a hardened sales professional en you know how to get through to our target audience and discover their needs. You use these insights to optimize our USP's and sales pitches. You can easily spot what is lacking in our sales process and you coach your team members where needed. Your knowledge and experience takes our sales department to the next level of competence. Furthermore, these hands-on skills also allow you to immediately add value to our team and their targets. It is good to know that this role is not just management, but also very much being part of the daily operations.

Within the BIMcollab sales-team, you are a team lead and as such are responsible for the coördination and results of each of the team's members. You also make sure that the team are successful in their sales pitches and online demos. You do this by formulating annual plans that are adjusted quarterly and translated into Objectives and Key Results (OKR's) for the team. During the year you keep the team focussed on these plans, you align with Marketing for lead generation and you make sure those leads are followed up on. Finally you take care of the transfer of accounts to the customer success team.


Your Profile

  • A bachelors and/or masters degree, for instance in business or commerce.
  • At least 5 years of sales management experience.
  • You are experienced in the strategic side of sales management, but more than willing to participate in the day-to-day sales operations.
  • You have experience in the coördination of resellers.   
  • Selling SAAS products online holds little to no secrets for you.
  • Excellent commercial and communicative skills in English.
  • Knowledge of the Dutch language and a third language is a big pre.
