The role of DevOps Engineer

We have started the transition to the cloud and are looking for someone to help build our new Azure Cloud environment. You will mainly be involved in developing services within the Azure platform and building the Azure DevOps pipelines for our development teams. You will therefore work closely with our 6 SCRUM teams, consisting of around 40 developers in total. But also with our IT-team, which deals with managing the cloud environment.

What will you do?

• Setting up and setting up the Azure platform
  
• Setting up and setting up Azure Devops CD/CD Pipelines
  
• Advising and guiding development teams in using Azure Devops
  
• Advising and guiding management team in using and monitoring Azure
  
• Documenting the Azure environment

BIMcollab is our platform for BIM coordination, model checking, issue management, takeoffs, document management and asset management. We aim to improve the quality of 3D design models for buildings. Better 3D models lead to better buildings, so you contribute to making the built environment more sustainable with a smarter use of materials, less waste, and energy-efficient buildings. A good user experience is of paramount importance to us; we go for innovation and quality in our development. What do you need for this?

• A technical education, preferably in Computer Science.
  
• Multiple years of work experience in a similar role.
  
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, PowerShell and YAML.
  
• We are preferably looking for a T-shaped professional in the field of IT and development, with in-depth knowledge and experience of DevOps.
