To strengthen our international sales team, we are looking for a driven, commercially strong, and enthusiastic Business Development Executive who knows how to advise and convince prospects and accounts online and by telephone. The role of Business Development Executive
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) with a strong sales hunter mindset and proven experience in SaaS sales. As a key contributor to our growth strategy, you will be responsible for driving new business by managing the complete sales cycle—from initial prospecting to closing deals. With a mix of inbound and outbound leads, you will manage a healthy sales pipeline, consistently surpassing new revenue targets. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit to work across multiple departments.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and generate leads: identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, email campaigns, and staying updated on industry trends.
- Sales pipeline management: build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by identifying key prospects, qualifying leads, negotiating to closure.
- Sales presentation and product demonstration: present BIMcollab to potential clients, demonstrating clear value and effectively addressing client needs.
- Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with marketing, customer success and product teams to align go-to-market strategies and share market insights.
- Report and analyze: track, analyze and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Job requirements
Your profile
- Proven SaaS sales experience: 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales role with a track record of consistently meeting sales quotas.
- Hunter mentality: highly motivated, resilient, and proactive, with a willingness to actively reach out to prospects and navigate challenging sales scenarios.
- Negotiation and closing skills: skilled in negotiating complex contracts and comfortable leading deal discussions.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated: driven to exceed sales targets and personal goals with a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
- Collaborative approach: team player, coachable, and able to give and receive feedback constructively; strong problem-solving skills.
- Background or knowledge in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) industry is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
- Proficiency in Portuguese, French and/or Spanish is a plus.
